Oriel Owl's Gruffalo Cave. Ho ho, oh no, it's the Gruffalo!

Oriel Owls had their first 'Reading Cafe' this afternoon led by Mrs Vernall and Mrs Arden. The children had a great time. They listened to the story of 'The Gingerbread Man' and had lots of activities to do. Parents, grandparents and carers came along to help and join in the fun. Everyone enjoyed a drink and a biscuit and Matthew won the raffle prize. If you would like to come along next time, it is held on Thursday afternoons between 2pm and 3pm.

Gruffalo's Party!

Oriel Owls had their very own Gruffalo party on Tuesday. Gruffalo was 10. Some of the children made Gruffalo hats. Invitations were sent out and lists written for the children's favourite party food. On the day of the party the children played games including, 'stick the poisonous wart onto Gruffalo's nose.' We all had lots of fun.
